Welcome to my official website! My name is Riley Carney and I am a sixteen-year-old author. Here you'll find news, links, and information about me and my books. My first book, The Fire Stone: Book One of The Reign of the Elements, is the first book of a five-book fantasy adventure story for kids ages 9-14, although a lot of adults like to read young adult fiction too, so there’s really no age limit on my books!

I have already written all five of the books in the series, so I already know what happens, but I’ll never tell! 

I have also written the first book, and am currently writing the second book, of a YA urban fantasy trilogy.

A portion of the proceeds from my books go toward my nonprofit for children’s literacy. I am passionate about promoting global literacy because I believe that the way to help children break the cycle of poverty and exploitation is through literacy. Did you know that there are 120 million children around the world who don’t have the opportunity to get an education? It is my goal to do everything I can to change that statistic.

I think you will enjoy my books – they are action-packed and exciting, and I think most kids will be able to relate really well to the characters! There’s more information inside, so look around and enjoy!
